Ok back to the basics:

If you have a lot of embellishments on your dress, make sure your veil is less dominating. If you have a dress that doesn’t have any embellishments, and is more of a timeless piece—you can go with a very detailed Veil. When your dress is very detailed and intricate, you can opt for a smaller shoulder or hip length Veil or even one more simplistic, like our Brides have done here in the phots from the Winery Wedding. You do not have to go with a cathedral or chapel style. Keep in mind you don’t want your Veil to dominate your Wedding dress. Pick wisely. Even try your Veil on, with a similar gown in stores if possible.
