Two Time Emmy Nominated Hollywood Celebrity Make Up Artist

We had the pleasure of meeting with the most genuine, sweetest and very incredibly talented, …..two time Emmy nominated, Hollywood Celebrity Make Up Artist, DeeDee Marcelli; at the cutest Cafe called Aroma Cappuccino Café, in L.A.

After countless emails and efforts, to meet, {with both of our busy schedules conflicting…} today, we finally got a chance to catch up with DeeDee, personally….. and discuss Business, as well as new ventures!

We are so thrilled for our new network and upcoming Brides! As we continue to grow our top, A-List Vendors at CBWP, we are constantly establishing new relationships and gaining the true respect, the trust we build from day one, behind the scenes. With this being said, each meeting is held with intent and carried with integrity.

Each of our Ciao Bella Brides are able to pick and choose from our CBWP Master list, which is complete with qualified professionals, that we either work with personally, or know professionally. Most of the time it consists of Vendors we have worked with in the past. From experience, we know how imperative this is to the Wedding planning process, in order to make it a fabulous and flawless extravaganza!

We are honored and so ecstatic to be able to offer these levels of services, to our high end clients now. { Because this two time, Emmy nominated Celebrity, Hollywood Make Up artist has an incredible portfolio, filled with A-list actors, artists and celebrities…she has worked on. Chocolate Monogram Wax Seals DIY Guide

Chocolate Monogram Wax Seals | DIY Guide

Valentine’s Day Chocolate Monogram DIY Wax Seals

We had so much fun making these ! We love wax seals so why not make them chocolate ones !

  1. Melting your chocolate…It’s not always easy. Try not to burn it! Ok so start by placing your white or milk chocolate morsels, in a miscrowave safe bowl, on a lower power setting for like 10 seconds or until its melts, make sure to check every 5-8 seconds by stirring it.
  2. Then place your wax paper down over your cooking / baking sheet and place a tiny amount off of the tip of your teaspoon, in a small dime size circular shape.. try to make them at least 5 cm apart if you can.
  3. Have your wax seals in ice. The metal part must be ice cold in order for the chocolate to peal off easily.
  4. If you make a mistake { like we did… wash it off with hot water and start again. Place the wax seal in ice.. we like to use a small bowl of ice.
  5. And stamp it just as you would a regular hot wax seal, but using your choice chocolate, instead.
  6. Make sure you do it right as your chocolate starts to harden, having the perfect timing is everything.. play around with it. It took us a few tries to get it down right. }
Place your chocolate in tiny dollops like so. The ones in the picture are way too BIG !!! Make them around a dime size.. this is what not to do …{ In the picture above… we like to see if you are paying attention…. is that wrong of us?? }

2019 & 2020 Unveiled To Veil or Not to Veil

Ciao Bella is breaking down the Wedding Rules —or should we say, do’s and don’ts to wearing a Veil, or not wearing a Veil on your Wedding Day. — Written by Ciao Bella Christina // Images via Ciao Bella Wedding & Events ™️

Things to consider, tips and tricks when purchasing your Veil. Opting for other options. We wanted to give you the scoop whether to Veil, or not to Veil, in 2019 & 2020.

A winter coat making statements. No Veil needed.
Both subtle hints of a flower crown and a Veil for Ceremony. Makes due for elegant and timeless shots. 2019 & 2020 we are seeing less flower crowns and more subtle hints of floral in their hair. Like the photos here.
Caught in the moment. Veils have been making statements for centuries. Check out what other trends are making headlines, this day in age.
Our Ciao Bella Brides “Something old” played a big part in this piece. Not only was it her Veil replacement, but a sentimental hair clip, she got custom made from an old heirloom.

Another of one of our Ciao Bella Brides who opted for a waist length Veil, so beautifully done.

Keep in mind some of these things when shopping for your Veil, the type of wedding or dress color you’re going to get? If you’re getting an ivory dress, make sure you’re getting an ivory Veil, if you’re getting a white dress make sure to get a white Veil.

How long the sleeves are? If you are doing sleeves or sleeveless dress, a sweetheart cut neckline, a princess, or mermaid style Wedding gown? These are major factors and the details you want to be aware of When purchasing your Wedding Veil.

Your Wedding Venue. Trust us when we say this will have a lot to do with your Veil on the Wedding day! This has a lot to do with the type of Veil want to choose. Make sure your wedding theme is cohesive, with this being said, that includes your Dress and your veil as well. Some brides tend to forget that.

Yes you should be choosing your Venue first, locking in your Wedding Date, so you can set and send out the Save the Dates. Then is time to shop and pick out your Dream Wedding Dress, and then of course the Veil. { or no Veil }

It should be in that order but if it’s not it’s OK if not don’t fret, every bride is different. This is just some professional advice, to make it most easiest on our Ciao’s Bella Brides. This is a glimpse of what, insider tips we offer here for our Brides. We love to share information insight to them on a regular basis, when they choose us to be their Personal Planner.

Ok back to the basics:

If you have a lot of embellishments on your dress, make sure your veil is less dominating. If you have a dress that doesn’t have any embellishments, and is more of a timeless piece—you can go with a very detailed Veil. When your dress is very detailed and intricate, you can opt for a smaller shoulder or hip length Veil or even one more simplistic, like our Brides have done here in the phots from the Winery Wedding. You do not have to go with a cathedral or chapel style. Keep in mind you don’t want your Veil to dominate your Wedding dress. Pick wisely. Even try your Veil on, with a similar gown in stores if possible.

Channeling the 1920s

We wanted to create a fun, freestyled Elopement Shoot, channeling and mixing in the 1920’s, 50s, and a twist of the 80s. We gathered up items we had laying around and called upon a good friend to collab with.

The weather was absolutely stunning for our shoot! Everything we were wanting and wishing for. From the misty air, grey skies, and to the gloomy clouds. The moody ambiance, was exactly what we needed to set the scene.

The crisp winter air was so beautiful yesterday…while shooting
