The Ultimate Guide Choosing the Right Colors

When it comes to your Wedding Day colors, you will want to incorporate the right color palette.

Picking and choosing your colors doesn’t have to be hard. Just make sure it compliments both you and your fiancé.

Play around with your favorite colors. Make sure it’s not to girlie or too masculine. Try to find a happy medium that you and your fiancé can both agree on.

Try to limit yourself to 3-4 colors max. We usually tell our brides to pick 3 colors. Two to three main colors and one pop color. For example: here is a beautiful combination below, Blush pink and Ivory with a pop of gold and lush green as your accent color. It’s always a great idea to keep your linen colors neutral. Ivory is a common choice, it’s clean, luxurious and subtle.

Speaking about linens, when you are deciding which kind of linens you want, be sure to remember there are all kinds of textures in the color you want! To add elegance, textured linens is the way to go! Believe it or not, velvet linens are very popular right now. Sequin linens are always a hit too! Especially for your sweetheart, head table, cake table or sweet treat buffet table. It’s lovely to have those linens in something different than your dining table linens.

When she isn’t organizing, creating or delivering you the 5 star experience you could find her traveling, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, or laying out, catching those sun rays. Michelle is very reliable, a team player and one of our Leads for Day of Coordination. Our Brides would say that “Michelle is always happy, smiling and going above and beyond!” We love having Michelle on the CBWP Team. She has been with us for over 6 years and we couldn’t be more thankful for her and all the Weddings she has been apart of. She is an expert when it comes to planning. She exerts charisma, never falls short of her tasks, is always helping others finish theirs. She knows the ins and outs like the back of her hand and is great at attending to our Brides and Grooms. We can always count on Michelle. She’s humble, brave, talented, and very calm in a sticky situation. Not only is she an amazing asset to us but to anyone else as well. She is the one we can call upon in any situation to be there for us in a heartbeat. We love Michelle !
Meet Ciao Bella Jess – Planner
When Jess isn’t curating Wedding or Events you can find her up in the mountains snowboarding or at the beach swimming like a mermaid. Jess is a one of a kind and one of our main Wedding Planners and Coordinators. She excels where others fall short, she is very energetic, loves love and of course Weddings too! She has what it takes to handle every aspect on her own. She is a people pleaser, and loves to plan! Her execution is flawless and she pays extra attention to the pretty little details. Our brides would call Jess “ A go-getter !” We love having Jess on the CBWP Team. She has done all of our extravagant and over the top Weddings with us! She will continue to impress us with her creativity! We just love Jess!
Meet Ciao Bella Maria – Planner & Social Media Guru
When Maria isn’t Planning, you could find her crafting, sewing, making new designs or fashion pieces, enjoying her family, working out, or planning her own Events. Maria is a jack of all traits! She can wear many hats! Maria is dependable and an asset to any company she works for! She can tackle any and all obstacles, she is the most amazing person to work with and the complete package. Maria delivers her expertise to all Weddings and Events. She is known for being at a location before her scheduled time. Our Brides would say “ Maria has everything it takes to shine !” We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Maria on board the Ciao Bella Dream Team.
Meet Ciao Bella Sierra – Make Up Artist & Day of Coordinator
When Sierra isn’t doing make up or leading a Wedding or Event you could find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen for her family. She is a loving and caring Mama of two, who is dedicated to her family. Sierra has been with us since day one and enjoys every little aspect of the planning process. This little bombshell is reliable and self – sufficient! She will be at a Wedding before the sun rises to set up shop for our Bride and Bridesmaids getting them all glammed up for our Brides Dream Day. But wait there’s more, she will pull a double shift and work until the nights end to help with everything in between! From setting up to strike this Mama has what it takes to succeed at life. She is vibrant, full of love and has great energy, we love having Sierra on our squad. Our Brides would say “She’s ahhhhhmazing !” If you ever see Sierra say hi! She is the one you will see walking around with a smile on her face, never stressed and filled with passion for this industry. Let’s give it up for Sierra!

Principle Planner & Luxury Wedding Designer Christina is our networking Queen, meeting new people is her “thang”, building new relationships with other vendors and getting to know new prospects daily is her jam. She has that lovable spirit, and has that relatable personality that’s attracts you to her. Christina always makes sure all ends are tied, all needs are met, and cradling every aspect of the planning process with the utmost care. Treating each Bride as if they were her own best friend. She is the kind of person who makes you feel good when you see her! But when she’s isn’t planning a lavish party, and extraordinary Event or Luxurious Wedding, you can find her beachside with her family and friends. She is a Mommy to be of two under two, a trophy wifey, and amazing entrepreneur. She found her niche decades ago, coming from a big Italian Family, always helping her Grandma and Aunties planning Parties, and creating enchanting moments with darling little details. It was in her nature to be a Premier Planner. She started her company straight out of high school while still attending college to get her degree in Business Management. What separates her from the rest is her enthusiasm, dedication, passion and love for her clients. She is loyal, respectful, responsible and creates these everlasting moments, people swoon for! Her relationships speak for themselves, time and time again you will find her catering to her clients needs. She is the woman behind the scenes, a curator of all things pretty, and her love for this industry is extremely effortless. She’s a natural and cultivates every Event or Wedding into a timeless masterpiece. She delivers the ultimate experience with everything she touches! She was born in Hollywood and raised in Laguna Beach, attending El Morro Elementary, Thurston and Laguna Beach High School. The manicured English style garden area is a lovely backdrop for all events and in the evening transforms into a magical wonderland as all the twinkling lights in the surrounding trees illuminate the courtyard, which accommodates 75-100 guests, comfortably.

The Verandah area, the lower part of the main cottage, features a very large great room with fireplace, oversized dining table, a large sun porch, a bathroom, and a chef’s kitchen complete with a Viking Range, Traulsen Refrigerator, two oversized sinks and two dishwashers.

Whether you are looking for an intimate location to host a family reunion, a quaint, romantic location to host your wedding or the perfect set up for a big celebration, be it a birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc., Arabella Laguna offers all the amenities to make your event a success. Congratulations!
If you are looking for a unique, romantic location for your wedding, look no further, Arabella Laguna
is perfect.
Because of the intimate setting, we are a destination wedding venue and require that you rent the
entire property for your wedding. We can accommodate up to 100 people. The Verandah has a
professional kitchen for your caterer, bathroom for your guests, gift room and living room/sunroom
for your buffet and cake table. Arabella has a total of seven studios, suites and cottages, each with its
own kitchen. Combined, they will accommodate between 16-24 people, utilizing all bed space.
The Weekend Getaway Package which is available from September (after Labor Day) through May
(before Memorial Day), includes all studios, suites and cottages for two nights (this does not include
the North Laguna Summer Home), Friday and Saturday. The cost for the Weekend Getaway
Package is $10,000.00.
Additional nights may be reserved if desired. Check in is at 4:00 P.M. on Friday and check out is
before 12:00 P.M. on Sunday.
There is a $1,000.00 security deposit that is refundable if the property is returned as received. A 50%
deposit is required to hold your reservation, with the balance due 6 months before the event date.

Ciao Bella’s Thanksgiving DIY Designs

The holidays bring out the best in us, in all of us we hope! We enjoy giving thanks, not only on Thanksgiving, but throughout the year!

As we sit back, and think about, all the amazing weddings and events we have accomplished thus far, we are left with the utmost gratitude. A smile from ear to ear.

Creating magical moments for our Brides and seeing the excitement in their eyes, when they walk into their venue for the first time, is such an incredible feeling. The confidence and reassurance they get when they see us is so fulfilling.

Designing spectacular events for clients is something we have always dreamed of doing. We cherish the memories we make with our peers, our professional team, and the friends that have turned into family, over the years of being in this industry.

To us, this is what life is truly about. Loving what you do and feeling passionate and proud of your work, is the best feeling, and the greatest gift you can give yourself.

This Thanksgiving we want you to reflect on your accomplishments and give thanks to all that you do for yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back as the year closes and comes to and end. Be thankful for your surroundings and enjoy your life.

There are so many things to be thankful for. Make a list and read it off to yourself. Appreciate the little things and celebrate all wins.

Now, onto our Thanksgiving Tablescape Designs.

This year we couldn’t decide so we did two looks. We would love to hear your feedback.

First look:

We went for a a simplistic chic natural feel.

We used Crystal glasses, Crystal candle stick holders, a beautiful Bohemian chic linen napkin with fringe detail, and the same charger plates for both looks. We loved adding black candles sticks for flare. Paper straws which we do not like to use personally but love to stage and design with ! Crystal Accent Votive candles and white spray painted pine cones.


Second look:

We went for more of the traditional feel.

This was super easy to accomplish. We spray painted some leaves, rose gold metallic, added a few succulents, and some branches of leaves we clipped from the front yard, added a few fresh and trendy elements some Moscow Mule cups and tadaaaa. We had a super cute gingham black and white print runner, that we used to add pattern. Let us know what you think? And which you like best! Leave a comment below!

1. Hire a professional !
2. They will help you find the perfect spot and location. They will help you design, decorate, stage and set up the proposal accordingly, with the right vendors. They will listen to your specific wants and needs and create a once in a lifetime moment.
3. They will make sure it’s magical !
4. They will hire a photographer and videographer duo for you.
5. Make sure you pick or choose a sentimental location or your personal planner can help assist you in doing so if you haven’t decided already !
6. Speak from the heart when you propose ! This is huge, and very important ! Don’t try to use big words to impress her you got this far right, just be you!
7. Don’t take too long- make it short simple and sweet!
8. Stay in the moment, it’s totally ok to be funny, silly or even laugh, it makes due for even better shots and footage for the photographer and videographer !
9. Look into their eyes when you are speaking, I know you might be nervous, and you will want to shy away from their eyes but steady contact is key ! Just try your best to focus, for that special second, on the way they look at that very moment in time and memorize it.
10. Then your coordinator and Personal planner, will plan for you and your fiancé { yes I said it fiancé !!! } to enjoy a limo ride to a candlelit dinner for the two of you , at your favorite resturant, where a table filled with rose petals, and bottle of your favorite bubbly will be waiting for you. { with your choice of any color rose petals – of course }

Showering Jaymee with the perfect Soirée !

We got a little carried away with this one! It must have been the kid inside us! Her Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower was the perfect soirée ! From the Alice in Wonderland sugar cookies to the rosette red and white cupcakes!

We specially loved the turquoise linen choices, checkered black-and-white napkin linens, floral colors esembles, the tablescape design and details! But most of all we just adored of the flower printed teacups! Here is a sneak peak of what our Alice In Wonderland Tea Party looked like!

A Labor of Love

Let’s get this Party Started!

It was another beautiful day in Cali! The blue skies so full of life, as the guest started pour in.

Let us gather on this day to honor our fellow American Workers! It’s Labor of Love for those individuals! There are so many hard workers out trying to achieve the Amamerican Dream! Let’s us honor them! Time to celebrate the ones who achieve their dreams, goals and aspirations! Congrats to all of the Amamericans and their accomplishments!

We love Estate Parties! One – they are so much fun to decorate, two – they don’t have time rules or regulations , and three – you are not dealing with a Venue Coordinator and their day.

When planning we really wanted to have fun with our red white and blue color scheme. We opted for some gingham red linens and some navy and white stripped ones. We got creative and we did a mixture of red roses, and incorporated some white and greens to add depth!

We did good bags for the kids to keep them occupied! Our Labor Day good bags consisted of coloring books, crayons, bubbles, flags and stickers. We know how kids can get and when our clients host parties, we have to be prepared to keep them occupied!
